Red Hall Farm Holiday Cottages Cumbria offer a choice of two newly converted, eco-friendly quality self catering properties, peacefully situated on a 'Farming for Wildlife' award winning working dairy farm, close to the North Lakeland Fells, near Wigton in the Northern Lake District in Cumbria.

Our cottages are all perfectly located for a holiday in the Lake District Holiday – providing an ideal base from which to explore this beautiful area. Keswick is a small market town with a range of shops, pubs, restaurants and entertainment including cinema, the Theatre by the Lake and galleries.

A true walkers paradise. An array of walks start right from our door and there are plenty of other activities for those wetter Cumbrian days, including La’al Ratty steam trains, Muncaster Castle and Gardens, the Roman museum and lovely home cooked food in one of the local pubs and restaurants.

The scenery is simply breathtaking at any time of the year: whether it is during the winter with snow-capped mountains, during the spring with the fresh green leaves, summer when the fells are festooned in bracken or in the autumn where the trees display their colourful autumn leaves.
